- Head southeast on N Lake Shore Dr toward E Ontario St
- Take the 1st right onto E Ontario St
- Take the 1st left onto N McClurg Ct
- Turn left at the 3rd cross street onto E Illinois St

- Take the 1st right onto E Grand Ave
- Destination will be on the right
Directions to Navy Pier:
The Navy Pier is accessible via a wide variety of public transportation options and also offers on-site parking. Following is a list of options to consider when visiting Navy Pier.
By Car:
- From the north, take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) to the Grand Avenue exit.
- From the northwest, take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Ohio Street Exit, south on Orleans to Illinois Street and proceed east.
- From the west, take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to Columbus Drive, north to Illinois Street and proceed east.
- From the southwest, take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41), north to Illinois Street and proceed east.
- From the south, take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) east to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41), north to Illinois Street and proceed east.
- From the southeast, take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to the Illinois Street exit.
Parking:
Standard Parking operates on-site parking garages accommodating up to 1,600 cars.
More Reinvention Convention attendees should park in the East Garage. Once in the garage, park and exit closest to the door #11.

Monday - Thursday flat rate of $20.00 per day*
Friday through Sunday - a flat rate of $24.00 per day*
Holidays - a flat $24 fee per day*

New Automated Parking Pay Stations:
For your convenience, Navy Pier has installed parking pay stations at various locations throughout the Pier. Pay for parking in advance anytime during your visit.
Alternate Parking Near Navy Pier:
If electronic signage and traffic aides inform you that Navy Pier lots are full, there is ample alternate parking sites near Navy Pier.

Overnight Parking:
The Navy Pier Parking Garage is open 24 hours. After 24 hours you will be charged an additional $20 (weekdays) or $24 (weekend).
Over-sized Vehicles:
Navy Pier parking can accommodate oversized trucks and vans only in the East garage on Navy Pier. Maximum height clearance in the East garage is 7'9". Please note, that the East garage is the second garage entrance as you drive down the access road on the North Dock. The maximum height in the West garage is 6'3". For vehicles taller than 7'9", there are or two surface lots with no roof in close proximity to Navy Pier. The closest is on New Street just south off of Illinois Street (Illinois Street is one way east; New St. is just east of Columbus/Fairbanks). Please note, these lots are not managed by Navy Pier.
Public Transportation:
Public transportation offers visitors an affordable and convenient way to get to Navy Pier. It is also the recommended means of travel to and from Navy Pier.
Metra:
Metra commuter rail is a convenient travel alternative. The CTA's #124 bus provides convenient and direct service from Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station to Navy Pier. For Metra fare and schedule information visit Metra Rail, or call 312.836.7000.
City Bus:
The CTA provides seven bus lines with more than 200 buses serving Navy Pier daily. These are #29 State St, #65 Grand Ave, #66 Chicago Ave. and the #124 Navy Pier Express (serving METRA lines, Millennium Park/Randolph St., Ogilvie and Union Stations). During weekday rush hours, the #2 Hyde Park Express (stops running at 9:10pm), #120 Northwestern/Wacker Express (serving the Ogilvie Transportation Center), and the #121 Union/Wacker Express (serving Union Station) run every fifteen minutes from 9am to 10pm the rest of the year. RTA:
The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) includes the CTA, Metra and Pace bus system. The RTA serves the Chicagoland region and provides a variety of different routes directly to Navy Pier.

Free Trolley:
The Navy Pier Trolley will run from 9:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m on May 17th. It services the Grand Ave. Corridor from Navy Pier to State Street at the CTA "L" Redline Stop. Click here for a Trolley Route Map.

Taxi:
Navy Pier has three convenient taxi drop-off and pick-up points. One is at the west end of Navy Pier, serving Dock Street and the Family Pavilion. At the mid-point, Entrance 1 serves the west end of Festival Hall, RIVA, and WBEZ Radio. Entrance 2 serves the east end of Festival Hall, the Grand Ballroom and the Navy Pier Beer Garden. Please get dropped off at Entrance 2 for the More Reinvention Convention.
Sightseeing Bus:
Three sightseeing bus lines stop and pick up at Navy Pier's front entrance. They include American Sightseeing and Gray Line Chicago, (312) 251-3100/3107; and Chicago Trolley Company, (312) 663-0260.
Coming from the Metra or Amtrak Station?
CTA Bus #124 will bring visitors directly to Navy Pier from Millennium Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station and Bus #29 from the LaSalle Street Station.
